Each year, the Margaret Island Theatre celebrates the Day of National Unity with a grand-scale commemorative concert. The national remembrance day, held on June 4 in memory of the signing of the Treaty of Trianon in 1920, was established by the Hungarian Parliament on 31 May 2010.
For many years now, it has been a tradition to prepare for this important occasion in collaboration with the Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra. At the 2025 concert, violinist Kristóf Baráti joined the orchestra, while the guest artists of the 2026 festive performance will be Vadim Repin and János Balázs.
