His many recital partners include Marielle Nordmann, Laure Favre-Kahn, and Susan Manoff.<\/p>\n<p>An artist who seeks to broaden the boundaries of classical music, Mr Radulovi\u0107 also regularly undertakes a play\/direct role with his chamber orchestra, Double Sens, which was recently celebrated for their unprecedented musical film entitled Unique \u2013 an artist, a place, a concert, which featured selections by Bach and from Vivaldi\u2019s Four Seasons, as well as a new arrangement by frequent collaborator Aleksandar Sedlar of Rimsky-Korsakov\u2019s Scheherazade, all shot and recorded live at the Neolithic site in Carnac, France. Their other recent recordings include Paganini Fantasy (2013), Journey East (2014), BACH (2016), Tchaikovsky (2017), and Ba\u00efka (2018).<\/p>\n<p>Mr Radulovi\u0107\u2019s recognition for his work in classical music includes International Revelation of the Year by the Victoires de la musique classique in 2005, an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Arts in Ni\u0161, Serbia, and an ELLE Style Award for Musician of the Year in 2015. In 2017, he was appointed \u2018Chevalier de l\u2019Ordre des Arts et des Lettres\u2019. He was the winner of several international violin competitions, such as Joseph Joachim in Hanover, George Enescu in Bucharest, and Stradivarius in Cremona.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Serbia in 1985, Nemanja Radulovi\u0107 studied at the Faculty of Arts and Music in Belgrade, the Saarlandes Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik und Theater in Saarbr\u00fccken, the Stauffer Academy in Cremona with Salvatore Accardo, and the Conservatoire de Paris with Patrice Fontanarosa.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"tab-7013\" class=\"sp-tab__tab-pane \" role=\"tabpanel\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"sp-tab-content animated fadeIn\"><p>Double Sens was formed in 2008, when violinist Nemanja Radulovi\u0107 brought together some of his favorite French and Serbian musicians to perform together as a chamber orchestra. This unique formation is united by friendship and family, as well as a love and desire of sharing music and progressively asserts its identity on the stage, both in France and abroad.<\/p>\n<p>Radulovi\u0107 says \u201cMy music, my friends? My France, my Serbia? My life before and now? The idea of creating Double Sens was born thanks to those questions! I wanted to gather my Serbian and French musician friends and didn\u2019t have to think about it for too long, as I personally knew each musician, and was certain that everyone\u2019s different personality would work well with the others, in order to become this ensemble where the most important thing is the happiness of sharing the music and stage together. When we performed for the first time, we all felt the desire to continue making music together and meet again as soon as possible. It has now been a few years that we play together, and this feeling is still present; we all can\u2019t wait until the next time we\u2019re all together!\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Radulovi\u0107 and Double Sens have recorded four albums together: The 5 Seasons (Decca, 2011), Journey East (Deutsche Grammophon, 2015), and Tchaikovsky\u2019s Rococo Variations in an original arrangement for viola (released in 2017 by Deutsche Grammophon) as well as Rimsky-Korsakov\u2019s Scheherazade for Radulovi\u0107\u2019s last album Baika (2018). This last album was also released as a visual album entitled Unique, which takes the ensemble to Carnac and features other pieces by Bach, Vivaldi, as well as some traditional and world music pieces. This release was featured in cinemas all across France. In 2022, Radulovi\u0107 and Double Sens record their first album for Warner. Entitled Roots, the album presents arrangements of traditional and modern musics, in a journey around the world.
